This worksheet gives the calculations of the temperature rise of the inner conductor, assumed solid copper, of a high power coaxial cable like the one used in Quetta (Pakistan) MW transmitter, 100 KW-1134 KHz. Temperature rise of solid state devices, transformers, bus-bars and transmission lines are very important for the life operation of these dvices.
