I tried to find a symbolic solution.

And why MinErr not Find? Find is OK too!

And of course you can also use the function "Find" too:

Please see the explanation from Mathcad Help (hotkey "F1"):

And simple example (returns "1" if "x=y", and "0" otherwise):

P.S. And in your case, equation to be solved must be defined using Boolean equals ("=", hotkeys "Ctrl"+"=").
