Mathcad 15 - Opening and Closing Areas Causes Other Fields to Move

I feel like this is a bug in Mathcad, but I would love it if someone had a solution for this.

I'm using a worksheet with multiple areas in Mathcad and I have noticed that after using the worksheet for some time, the text fields above the areas will "creep" upward or downward. Additionally if I move the text fields, the first motion they make is subtle, as if they had been placed inbetween a grid space and were put back on the nearest grid.

I hope I am explaining this in a way that you all can understand. It's really annoying to set up a worksheet and constantly have to realign everything as you use it.

I've made a sample worksheet for you to try. If you note the difference in the spacing between the title and the area before you open it and after you open it, you can see the difference. It is really small at first, but over time it creeps farther apart depending on what you are doing in the worksheet.

I opened your file and that's what I have in Mathcad 15 M010:

I don't think I was very clear. Those titles will only move a few pixels in the test--as though they were bumped up less than a full grid space from the area. It's extremely subtle and would be hard to notice in a screenshot.

My experience is that during regular use, after opening and closing many areas over time or doing usual worksheet things, these small bumps eventually kick the titles to a higher or lower point on the grid where the process is repeated. Over time the title start to creep away from the area they were associated with (or the areas themselves start to telescope together).

Has anyone else had this experience? I've tried it with many worksheets and I always get the same behavior.

I've noticed the same thing for many years, especially when I use many areas and try to keep the closed areas very close together to save scrren space. When they are opened and then closed, the area spacing nudges one way or another, so that some areas eventually wind up too close together to select one at a time, and I need to change the area spacing. Not a fatal problem, but certainly an annoyance and not a behavior that I would think is correct.

I have also seen this. I assumed it was because when I opened or closed the area I accidentally moved it slightly. Maybe it's not me though!

Looks like it's just the nature of the beast. Anyone know if this still occurs in Mathcad Prime?

"Area"s will be available in Mathcad Prime 2.0.
