It was my last video: http://communities.ptc.com/blogs/vpalffy/2012/02/15/draft-tips-with-creo-parametric-10
It is *.wmv format and 4.94MB (short and small video)
This problem I had several times ago - I create the video and then I need delete it and upload again?? - system not able to decode the *.wmv video
I'll send this video by email.

Note: This happened to me several times. - I still using the same codec.
I have the same problem. My video was under 2 minutes, MP4 format, and 4MB large. I did one smaller than this and the same problem.
I create my videos at the website screenr.com and then save as MP4 and try to upload to PlanetPTC. One video made through the decoding process, but I didn't even realize it until I looked at my videos and saw it there.
After I Upload a video it takes few minutes to encode the video
But Publish option is also availabe at bottom during this time
The screen never shows when encoding is complete
But if I Publish video during the encoding period then No points are added
Uploading Video during this period gives a message-Your video is currently encoding. It will be available soon
Bigger the size of the video; less the chance of gaining points
I generally upload my video in mpeg format.
I have earned 2 times(smaller size video and 1 min waiting time after upload) and missed 7 times(published within 1 min of upload)
I dont think this is a problem with me only

(Heric Paulo has uploaded 2 videos , but is on 6 points)

I havent had any upload issues, i havent checked my points yet though either.
I use an MP4 format and i use camtasia to record. My videos are roughly 40-80 meg in file size depending on length. i have had some videos take a bit to encode, but never a hang up.
my only issue is this. I record my videos in full 720p 1920x1080 resolution, my complaint is when i upload them here and they get encoded the quality for some reason gets seriously degraded. if you try to full screen any one my tutorials here they are blurry. maybe adding resolution playback settings would fix this.
an example of this can be seen here.
this is the latest gear tutorial i put up here on the site (try to watch it fullscreen to see quality issue.)
now this is the same exact video file uploaded on youtube. (change the setting on youtube to 720p and full screen for comparison)
this has been my only issue.
I took all your source files and did test uploads and couldn't reproduce the issues you guys reported.
It could've been a cache issue with the server, that's all I can chalk it up to so far.
If it does happen again, please let me know. Try to capture the date and time of day so I can serach the log file for errors.
I think I have got a way to regain my missing points(Which I have missed during uploading my videos)
Check the point in the two images below
I have gained 50 points(actually 60points. because i have taken screen shot after 10 points)without uploading or reply any post
What I did is
Modified my videos by adding few tags
Result- It gave me 10 points / video which i have missed
Multiple time modification and for videos which I have already received points earlier do not give extra points
I'm not sure how to do it, but banning videos from being hosted on YouTube would be great. I think the forum software itself hosts them there?
Most of us here use Pro/Creo at work. And as such, we are at the mercy of our IT departments. I cannot view anything from YouTube at all, hence I cannot view any videos here. I would LOVE to view them. I'm trying to learn as fast as I can and as anyone knows, seeing things done beats reading them.
If there were an "Idea" category in Comm Help, I do this as an idea. I find it hard to believe that no one has mentioned this before.
I think you misunderstood me.
I think that when anyone uploads via the forums (not posting a YouTube link), the forum software stores it on YouTube.
I understand that people have the option to upload where they want, but I would think that the forum would like to make videos uploaded directly to the forum, available to anyone.
I can't view any of the videos on the video page. I can see the preview on the main "video" screen, but when I click on them, all I can see is the gray image of movie film.
