Why isn't MC Prime 3.1 upgrade available for download?

Why isn't MC Prime 3.1 upgrade available for download?

‌Does any one know how to access an upgrade download for Mathcad Prime 3.1? My subscription download portal is still showing only MC Prime 3.0. Is there some special things that I have to do to refresh the portal so that MC Prime 3.1 becomes available in the download list or is it only available to new customers?

I would appreciate a response from anyone that has got thEire hands on the upgrade because PTC doesn't seem to care to respond In any way to my query. I suppose that happens when a company grow to big on the backs of their users to care.

  • Release Prime 3.0

Prime 3.1 doesn't show up for me either.

Could it be country-specific ? I am in the UK, if that makes any difference...

Maybe PTC have something against the UK and its former colonies. I am in Australia and I certainly don't see Prime 3.1 in my list either. Nevertheless I am sure that PTC will get around it. As you know PTC are renowned for their customer service and speed of execution. Its truly amazes me just how feature packed Prime 3.1 looks. For example all those hundreds of new worksheets that you can buy for $500 a pack. PTC are more like a charity organisation than a money hungry corporation. I am sure most users of Mathcad would agree. Surely their CEO deserve a Presidential medal for service to his users. All US users should write to President Obama recommending same and we can write to the Queen recommending a knighthood for their CEO.

We should suggest PTC as candidate for worst company in the world. EA won several years in a row, and the reasons why their customers were upset are not half as valid as our own issues...

Are the folks who answer questions here on the forum paid by PTC? I would say their (Werner) help and response time is spectacular.

Thanks Brent.

For fairly obvious reasons, I will not put my customer number out in the open on this forum. And with the new horrible-looking forum, I just can't find how to send private messages (if it is still possible). Can you please provide either a private means to contact you (email, for instance), or explanations on how to send private messages (if it is still possible) with this new and confusing website ?

I have the same issue here in the US. Brent Edmonds did reach out to me for my customer number, now I'm just waiting for it to be activated.

Daniel, your customer number has been revved - you should be all set now.

Thank you very much Brent, I'm excited to try Prime 3.1. Did I read somewhere that it integrates with AutoCAD (I'm not sure what this integration would be?)

While using the license pack generator I'm being asked if I will be installing Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0 or higher? What is this and is it necessary to use Prime 3.1?

I don't think so.

Mark, your customer account is prevented from getting the Prime 3.1 update because of invalid information in your record. Hearne Scientific should be reaching out to you to rectify asap.
