Hi, I am new to matlab and I wanted to know what are the different ways of creating .mat files as shown in the picture attached?

are these done from the command window? imported from excelt or text? both? any good explanation

There is a good document produced by matlab called the "matlab primer" look it up in a google search.

Also useful is this document.
