Retrieving back previous iteration

Hi all, i need to retrieve back previous iteration of a model in windchill. ie to my model there is 3 iterations in commonspace. I need to use the 1st iteration of the model again. How to retrieve without any loss. Guide me

Hi Vivek,

go to preferences (Site or Org) and expand the "Create and Edit" group. Enable the option "Allow checkout of non-latest iterations".

Hi Bjoern,

Thanks for the reply. But i couldnt find the option in my preferences (see the snap below). I searched and couldnt find "Allow checkout of non-latest iterations" any where. Am using windchill 10.1. Can we sort it out in some other way?

Hi Vivek,

you have to be organisation or site administrator to set this option.

Then you can choose your Organisation --> Utilities --> Preferences --> ....

You are right. Also i dont have those previliges

Is there any other way you know?

Hi Rajan,

there is no other options. You have to be an administrator to set this option.

You can try the following:

1) Check out the latest iteration of the object in question

2) Open the previous iteration from Creo or Pro/E ("As stored") and click Save

3) You'd get warning that the object is already in Workspace, select Overwrite

4) Check in
