I'm thrilled that there is now the capabilility to edit attributes on multiple parts at once, however, it is available on the folder listings only. Therefore, all the parts to be updated need to reside in the same folder (not often the case).

Is it possible to add the same menu selection to the search results, a location that would be more usable. Or even better yet, as a Icon multi-object Action from the Clipboard.

David, if it's not there, yes you can add the appropriate actions and
toolbar menus to other tables such as search results. Or, build your own
table. The customizer's guide explains actions and action toolbars.
Basically, the edit attribute wizard will depend on a list of checked or
selected objects as input. Provided it is what a JCA or JSCA table, it
should not be a problem. Look at how it works in the existing XML and the
action report utilities and you should be able to figure out how to add it.
I always thought at least on search it was already there. I know our system
will need that capability also.
