BOMCheck APIs, etc?

Is anyone using the BOMCheck APIs to pull data into WPA? Also, at one point during the last CAB it was mentioned that BOMCheck might be integrated with WPA similar to how GDX has been. Is there any update on that as well?

Hi Laura,

There is still not an integration to BOMCheck like we have with GDX.

Are you getting request from suppliers or customers to use BOMCheck?

Hi Jim,

We have some Lenovo folks in China who are asking us about suppliers using BOMCheck. I am not sure if its being pushed from their management or from the supplier side. Anyhow, we are just trying to understand what we would be getting from BOMCheck and what type of automation is available to us (Like GDX and the GDX connector).

Laura,

With PTC services, we can create an integration to BOMCheck using the existing APIs. I believe that we have one customer that is in production with this approach.

We have had a few vendors supply information that they told us was from BOM check, but very few.
