    <description>&lt;P&gt;My personal goal is to unify references and associations, so that there are properties you can set on a reference field that cause it to act like today's associations.&amp;nbsp; We do not yet have a planned release for this unification, but that is the approach we are considering.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I was searching in the documentation but couldn´t find it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I´m trying to have a computed field which takes the ID of the referenced items that are linked through an association with the type "derived from".&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is this possible and if yes, how?&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.ptc.com/help/codebeamer/r3.1/en/index.html#page/codebeamer/user_guide/ug_suspectedref_funcs.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://support.ptc.com/help/codebeamer/r3.1/en/index.html#page/codebeamer/user_guide/ug_suspectedref_funcs.html&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

It sometimes helps to have screenshots to better understand what you are trying to do.&lt;/P&gt;
