      <description>in the design page,I place some block or group instances,system will generated number automatically depending on the name_format,such as CON1, CON2..CON5.When I delete the CON3.CON4,5 whether can become CON3,4 automatically.</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Creo Schematics does not automatically rename instanced items, as such a function could generate unanticpated changes. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You would have to manually make the change utilizing the embedded paramaters dialog or selecting an instance &amp;gt; Right Click &amp;gt; Properties&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As a side note, if you delete Con 3 &amp;amp; 4, and then select from the Admin ribbon, Design Properties &amp;gt; Reset Serial Numbers, then then next time you instance the connector Con 3 and Con 4 will be back filled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks, Jim&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
