Modify dimension slider controls outside of sketch mode

Does anyone know if the dim modify slider can be used outside of sketch mode? In some cases it would be beneficial to use a dynamic drag handle or slider when modifying features with an internal sketch. In this example the scaling dim is in the sketch and can not be dynamically changed unless in sketch mode as shown here. It would be nice to have this function at the feature level without entering sketch mode.

Your suggestion is quite close to the ideal version of what I was looking for. It gets clunky on a complicated model due to the dynamic update regeneration overhead on the CPU but it does work.

Yeah, I'd like to see that as well. I think it'd be a great enhancement.
