Hello,

I've searched here and there for information before posting.

Is there a way to export transparent background png (or whatever format) image files from illustrate?

Or even set the background as "no background" instead of a colour?

This would avoid the need to go through Photoshop to delete the background.

Any answer's appreciated

Thanks in advance

This essential basic feature is absolutely needed.

We export images from Creo/View all the time, and have to manually remove the solid background from each image in Photoshop for further use. This is not only extremely time-consuming, but also leads to poor, pixelated quality of the edges.

The lack of this feature has been stated for many years all over the Community and Ideas pages.

Something has to finally be done about this.

Can you post a link to one?

For those that can't see the idea there is an update.

The ability to export to raster formats with a transparent background was delivered with the 10.1 release of Creo Illustrate.

That seems to relate to Creo Illustrate, but not to Creo/Creo View which the original question was about.

Exactly! Why can't there be just a "BASIC" screenshot feature? Say with the ability to have the background white, grey, black and that's it. If someone wants more options they can use editing software.
