It would help if you listed what version of Creo you are using and describe or map the design intent that is relevant to the question at hand. Is the copy geometry feature an external copy geom or does it require the assembly to be in session to regenerate?

When using a copy geometry feature to drive a reference pattern in a derivative part, only the lead pattern instance in the parent model should be included in the copy geom passed to the derivative part. Do not include anything else in this copy geometry feature. Can you confirm that your copy geom only includes the pattern leader? If this is not the case start with this and use an external copy geom to pass the lead instance of the reference pattern.

Hello

I have a reference pattern created from geometry present in another part in assembly. Referenced pattern does not get updated automatically, when I update my parent/main feature. What could be the main reason refernce pattern does not get updated automatically when refernce with external geometry.

I have also checked the update control is set to automatically

.

TIA
