The repeat region BOM will always show the model/representation of what was active at the time the BOM was made until you change the Model thru the repeat region menu.

Table tab > Repeat Region > Model/Rep > Select repeat region (table) > Select model > Select representation > Confirm > Done

In your simplified rep, you have B.ASM set as Exclude which would normally exclude the sub components in the assembly. However, you have also explicitly included the parts C and D. The recursive BOM is adding B.ASM to maintain the BOM structure. If you don't want B to not show try filtering by item to hide B.

Note: You do not have to define simplified representation in A.asm
