Note for Parameter

I'm upgrading from Creo 2 to Creo 8.

We use Notes in the model to make string parameters from multiple parameters and have them on different lines. And do I really need to make and place a note in the model then erase it to have this function.

As I'm working through it it seems like I do but I'm open to suggestions.
