to prevent problems with missing references, user can add datum points into models and use them as references instead model edges. This is just a suggestion...

Hi Community,

Creo 10 drawing interface - Is there a way to identify a missing reference for local section in drawing view properties.

Not really, not that I know of.

So if you click on the ones that are NOT missing and you watch the drawing view, the "non-missing" ones will highlight. So you will be able to rule out those in a few clicks, then you can try to re-select the missing one and it will only let you pick within the spline sketch of the one that is correct.

It's like a little puzzle you have to put together, keeps you on your toes!

Thank you StephenW.

Yes this is an option but on a very large drawing / view with a lot of detail it seems difficult to watch the highlighted items.

I agree completely...it's horrible. I also do a lot of welded structures and i hate when I open up the drawing after making significant changes. It can take a significant amount of time to find reference issues.
