    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your site uses PDMLink you can choose a file stored in Windchill as your configuration file value. This is useful as long as you are connected to the network. If you have a laptop and travel on business without ready access to the internet this isn't as useful. What I would like to see is the ability to have fallback values for configs if the network isn't available or accessible. That way Creo will try PDMLink first and then can use a local cache of files if necessary.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For example:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;default_setup_file&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; wtpub://PDMLink/Libraries/CAD Standards/Configuration files/metric.dtl;$PRO_CONFIGS\templates\metric.dtl&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This would work similar to how the PTC_D_LICENSE_FILE enviroment variable works.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;This thread is inactive and closed by the PTC Community Management Team.
