      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Here's my 2 cents....&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If you're modeling the gasket at different lengths, you have a family&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;table for all of these gaskets?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Use or create a parameter for the part number of this gasket to be used&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;in the BOM and add to the family table.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I have had this type of parameter update automatically by parsing the&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;length of the gasket value onto a parameter that includes the generic&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;part number as well.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The length of the gasket can be found by creating a saved measurement of&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;the curve length for the 'spine' that the gasket is swept along.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;It may report the length in inches, so you have to do more programming&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;kung-fu to get the value in decimal feet and then convert this to a text&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;string that can be appended to text string that includes the generic&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;part number.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Christopher F.
