      <description>&lt;P&gt;Let's say we have N wires around the core, outer diameter of bundle is D.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Assumed outer strands are all touching adjacent outer wire, plus touching inner "core" wire.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Let's say outer strands have diameter B, inner core is diameter C.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Geometry shows the following two equalities:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;D = 2B + C&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;B = (C X SIN(180/N) / (1 - SIN(180/N))&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For a given D, you can solve for C, which is algebraically not so tidy, but given by:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;C = D / ((2 X SIN(180/N) / (1-SIN(180/N) + 1)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For your given example, this yields C = 0.0506, B = 0.0722&lt;/P&gt;</description>
