Simplified reps come in two flavors, I believe. Either include
everything unless I exclude it (the default) or exclude everything
unless I include it.

Adding a component to the assembly while in a simplified rep still adds
it to the assembly, so any default 'include' reps will get that
component.

Doug Schaefer

Am I going nuts? I assemble a new component into a simplified rep, thenopen an older rep and the component if there too. I want all the reps tostay the same. It's like they pull everything from the Master until Iexclude them. Is there a setting to keep simplified reps "frozen"

repeating a string parameter on drawing frm

I would like to display a string parameter in two places of my drawing. When
pulling the format to use I am asked twice for the information for the
parameter. Is there a way to display this without having to input twice the
same value? EX: &JOB# located a bottom and side of drawing

Thanks

Dale
