Can we Import .xml Export from TWx Neo4j/PostgreSQL to H2/MS SQL?

Hello Everyone,

Can we Import TWx Entity configuration which is exported from a different Database Platform.

I have a XML Export of my configuration from PostgreSQL TWx 8. And I want to import it to TWx H2 Base.

While doing so I am getting an error as 'Not Acceptable'.

I get it that the Persistence Provider is different in both the versions.

If we need to do this, how can we do it?

While import we are opting for Default Persistence Provider, so will it not accept it and why?

Could you please attach the entity in question? Does it happen with both binary and xml formats?

If you open the Applicationlog (through the monitoring tab) - what does it show?

In general an export to XML or Binary (twx) will import back into Thingworx regardless of the persistence provider.

Are you experiencing trouble with this feature?

Hi All,

Thanks for the inputs.

I found in the log files, there were some dependent Entities that were missing. Once I added that, I was able to Import.

I will try with Binary data too.

However, I am getting a lot of Warning messages as below.

----> Security context stack is growing large : current size = [depth: 119]

Can you help me understand this.
