Double click event alternative

The double-click event is missing in ThingWorx 9.4 version, and I use that event extensively in my application. Please suggest an alternative that I can apply to achieve the same functionality.

Hi @AC_10460579, I think it depends on what widget you are using.

Could you please tell us a bit more about what widget and functionality you were using?

currently we use advance grid and on double click pass some data through mashup parameter and open a new popup which shows data based on the mashup parameter.

we use dropdowns , buttons, checkboxes ,grids in our application.

I would wait for the release of 9.4.4 (scheduled for release in February 2024, as per PTC Release Calendar).

The Double-Click event is planned to be added back again in the grid in this version (and subsequently in 9.3.14 and 9.5.1 in case others are interested).

Disclaimer: as always, this should not be taken with 100% certainty, as many things could impact that (issues do appear in testing).
