    <description>&lt;P&gt;Decide if you want to use a number type or a string. the number 0500 has the same value as 500.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You could store as a number and convert it to have a leading zero if you need to display it, or you can store it as a string with the leading zero(es), and parse it into a number when you need to make computations.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
