I am using Creo Parametric Release 10.0 and Datecode10.0.1.0

Guidance on the workflow to Create a protrusion that stays normal to a complex internal surface.

See the solution post in this previous thread it deals with the general problem of holes normal to a surface. A reference model is included which provides an example of how to do this.

You can place a point on the surface then create an axis referencing the point and the surface.  The axis will be normal to the surface at the point.


There is always more to learn in Creo.
