NPT Male / External Thread

Hi

Is there any easy way to create the NPT external Thread something similar to Internal thread just by selecting the hole location?

currently we are creating the cut for the thread major dia and adding cosmetics for the pitch and minor dia. manually - we are making repetitive mistakes due to manual process.

i'm using Creo 7.0.9.0

If you are asking about creating the actual thread geometry and re using it, then a UDF would be the obvious solution. Using subordinate UDF to place the geometry in target models will ensure consistency controlled by a master model defining the thread geometry.
