Pro Gurus:
Below are my first step to confirm that WF 4 doesn't overwrite WF 3 drawing
format, library parts, start parts and start assembly. Please let me know
if there is something that I might overlook.
Thanks and happy Friday
Frank
- - Backup the a current WF 4 assembly to a server working
directory.
- - Delete the library parts MS15795.prt and MS51957.prt from the
working directory.
- - Bring up the new_motherboard.asm.1 in WF 4
- Delete the instance MS15795-802 from model tree - Re-Insert
MS15795-802 and insert MS51957-15 to the assembly then save.
- - Monitor the standard library folder and make sure that WF 4
doesn't overwrite these WF 3 parts back to the folder.
- - Detail the new_motherboard.asm using WF 3 drawing format and
make sure that WF 4 doesn't overwrite it.
- - Create a new startpart and startassy and make sure that WF 4
doesn't overwrite these WF 3 templates.
There are no changes or new files have been created in these
correspondent folders.
