All Versions pick in the workspace context?

Anyone know if there is a way from the ProE File Open menu to see all versions of files in the local cache?
If you're not in the context of PDMLink you get this menu:

But when you look at your workspace the All Versions pick is grayed out.

The thing is, all the versions are there in the cache. I can copy the lid_* files to another directory and run the rename program on them and then pick an older version of a file. Just had to do this yesterday afternoon. Works well but is a bit painful.

Only way I can think of is using the Undo/Redo stack in the Event Manager,
but that will roll back other objects and might not have enought saved
undo's.
So Undo, retrieve, backup and Redo should be possible.

I guess the previous versions will get lost if the cache is cleared,
unless that version is needed in the Undo stack. So clearing the Event
Manager and then the cache should remove all previous versions.
