The back maintenance payment isn't all, it only goes back 1 year. We'vebeen down that road before with positive results, but if you can't stayoff maintenance a minimum of 18 months or better 2+ years, it's notlikely worth the pain. In this case it seems a 50/50 proposition. I'mbetting it'll be 2 years until we need to use Creo 3, but it may beshorter, who knows. We need to be able to run whatever version our clients are running(right now we've got clients on WF4, WF5 & Creo2 and I've had to use all3 in the same day.) So, if we go off maintenance and get a client thatadopts Creo 3 right away, we'd have to pony up to renew. Mostly this was just a Friday rant about how the value of ourmaintenance dollar is slipping each year to the point that it feels likethrowing money out the window and how PTC isn't living up to what theysaid we'd get with Creo - annual releases. The idea of paying 12 monthsof maintenance and not getting a single new release is painful. Anyway, back to your Friday. I'll likely be in a better mood after theweekend with a short week ahead. 😄 --
