I a bit confused.  Your screen shot looks like you've got an EXCEL sheet imbedded; I get the component wizard window if I'm inserting a new component.

If you have the this

in a sheet already try this:

  • right-click on the component.  You should get a dialog with

                                 "add input variable"

                                 "add output variable"

                                 "properties"

and a bunch of other options

This should let you define your inputs

But where is your Mathcad worksheet with this error?

Hi,

This is the mathcad program that shows the error.

Please advise what to do about it.

When I open this file the variables report the correct numbers and 176 rows.  I don't see the problem. . .

right-click gets me this:

There is no any error in Mathcad 15 M045 with your example worksheet. What version of Mathcad are you using?

Hi guys,

The thing I'm missing is the stuff that I see in the Component Wizard.  If you look at my very first post, supposedly all those items "Matlab, Excel...etc" should show up in Component Wizard, but I don't see any of those.

You don't have problem because your component wizard shows Excel , but mine doesn't.

How to fix this?

Thanks

Joe

My guess is that if you insert a 3D graph you will also have a problem. Similarly if you insert a control (such as a list box).

Repair your Mathcad installation.
