Creo 9.0 Authentification failed

I'm a hungarian student and I study in Győr in Széchenyi István University. I am currently installing the PTC Creo 9.0 - Student Edition. I'm following the Quick installation guide.

I am entering the simple licence code "BK900908EDSTUDENTEDUNI" as indicated and click "Install license". Now I am asked to enter my username and password. At this point the installation program always gives me the error "Authentification failed". The username and password are entered correctly! I tried to reset my password but it didn't worked. I had a license for creo 6.0, can be this the problem?

Hi,

did you remove expired license file from C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory?

Try requesting license file via email. Please read https://community.ptc.com/t5/PTC-Education-Forum/PCT-Academic-Program-installation/m-p/875275 discussion.

I didn't have the file "Licensing", but I remove the Creo 6.0 file. Now I can see these file (pic). But when I try install file i can still see the previous files in "license sources" (pic)

Hi,

you have to remove expired license files from C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing directory. To access this directory you have to copy&paste C:\ProgramData\PTC\Licensing path into address field of File Explorer (as shown in following picture) and press ENTER.

Hi,

please ask Google ... Mac address of Ethernet network card and learn something new yourself.

PTC uses terms Host ID and CPU ID.
