IE9 not supported on PDMLink v9.1

If you look at the last page of this document at PTC.com, you'll see that Internet Explorer v9 will not be supported until PDMLink v10.0 M020. PDMLink v9.1 is /not/ supported with IE9.

Yes I am very concerned.

No, because we are still using IE7 and IE8 with PDMLink9.0 with no problems.
I am also in a secured environment and changes must be approved before they can be implemented. We are not connected to the outside world, so Microsoft can do what they want, but nothing will get to my desktop unless IT puts it there.

IE9 does not run on Windows XP, so unless you have upgraded all of your workstations to Win7, you still need IE8. Most of our computers are still XP on both the secured and open systems.

I’m following this, however we have a similar situation with Firefox since Mozilla has accelerated their release cycle as well. I haven’t seen any PDMLink issues specifically attributed to IE9, however. Although see differences with the way PDMLink works with IE/FF/Chrome.

Very concerned. I have a few 9.1 users using IE9. I have had issues
with IE8 with other software, so my handful of beta users on win764 are
running ie9. The machines came that way. There have not been issues
reported. But... when there are issues its not supported- so that in
itself is an issue.

According to a PTC presentation in June (forward looking information)...

"Microsoft IE 9.0 Support Planned for Creo1.0 M010, CreoElements/Pro 5.0 M110, Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 M210, Windchill10.0 M020 & Windchill9.1 M070"

I have not been able to find an 9.1 M070 document to confirm this.

9.1 m070 is scheduled for release in Q2, 2012!
My guess is that this will be last release for 9.1 as end of life is Dec, 2012.
