Sounds like its getting complex now. Options to consider are soft-typing parts. Your first choice is selecting the soft-type (in place of that first attribute) then you can have specific attributes displayed. Cons are this is a Part birthing option and cannot be reversed. Other option is using Part Classification. Easier to modify later but will allow custom attribute sets based on the classification of that first choice.
