Who decides when useful content needs to be archived??

This particular post shows how to programmatically modify a task deadline. I have the url copied into the comments of a method I created back in Nov of 2021:

Hi @RandyJones and @VladimirN    Thanks for bringing this up. Yes, we do archive content to optimize content management on the Community. Some details here.  We only target inactive conversations that have happened more than 15 years ago. The topic you needed was in the target span. Typically, these receive very little views. However, given your need for it, I just unarchived the post. I am sorry for the trouble.

There is/was a gold mine of "how to's"  and code snippets in previous posts. Blindly archiving them just they are old or have few views is a really bad deal. There really should be a group of community members that review all conversations that hit the "chopping block" and decide to keep or archive.

The conversation in question is one of the gold nuggets.
