Approval Labels/Signatures on Content

Can anyone recommend a good solution for place signatures of Documents?

Requirement: Signature of Approvers must exist on Documentation going to customers/external departmental groups

Windchill change process will electronically tracked everyone that signs-off (ie Approves) CAD and Or Documentation but there does not seem to be an easy way?

1. eSignatures let you load a jpeg of a Signature but does not seem to use this information anywhere.

2. Desktop Integration allows you to pull Attributes from Windchill onto your Documents. This works great for showing Revision, Created By, Windchill Number for Documents; But does not appear easy to apply the images of the Signatures on the Document.

3. PTC has the Document Publisher that converts Documents to PDFs... (Which would a great time to add the Signature Images)

Currently;

The Solution is:

A. Get Approved in Windchill for Source Content (Document)

B. Make a PDF

C. User a Free Utility to place Image of Signatures on PDF

D. Check In PDF (Own Subtype as Neutral)

F. Set State Released on Neutral Document

Or Something Simlar depending on if Attaching Neutral to Source, or attaching to a wtPart, etc...

Have to use a Free Utility is an awful solution.

Would rather have Attrbute in Document that auto pulls the Values of Approvers (As Text or better yet the Jpeg of the Signature)

Anyone Investigated this Functionality Gap?

Anyone Made a 3rd Party Uitilty?

(Note: Aware of Windchill Customization/GSO to place Approvers on to CAD Drawings...

There has to be an automatic solution... eSignature in Workflow, updates Attribute attached/show in Content... whether it be CAD, Documents or PDFs.
