Auto Generated Name?

I'm testing out a 10.2 upgrade from 9.1. In Creo I'm seeing this. Which we didn't have before. Is this OIR's or some other setting?

We are in 10.1 In order to believe OIR is driving that value, you have to modify ootb oir and have following contents in place of number attribute. I would recommend you to try creating new oir for epm at product or library level.

I am expecting Name pattern following PRT000X for Part ASM000X for Assembly when you are not connected to Windchill server. I know this is not your question, so ignore this additional note.

We are using 10.1 and we see this when we create new files. I recall that before our Windchill was set up to make Name, NUMBER and filename the same by default, there was a system generated number in this space.
