Configurable Products, anyone?

Hey folks,

I am throwing in the towel for Configurable Products with Windchill 11 and moving on to the "Smart" Platform with Dynamic Positioning. Anybody else using this in production, or at least at later stages in development? Hope to hear some success stories of using it to create new variants with proper 3D Visualizations of Variants without building them in Creo.

Attached is a very simple assembly with functional constraints. It is easy to spin off variants from Creo, but not so much from the Windchill 11 Options & Variants. Windchill will build the correct Variant BOM, but positioning is wrong.

Hi ,  As technical Support I have seen a lot of similar issue (wrong positioning) , the issue is in 80% caused by difference in locale between (OS/Creo) and Windchill when working with units. i.e. Creo/Windows running in German and Windchill Locale to EN
