Force Object Type to Library but create anywhere

I have a Equipment softtype of part. Whenever a user creates a piece of Equipment, it needs to be created in the "Equipment" Library, because it could be shared as a child by any part in a "product" or "library" context. However, the user should be able to create it from the "Product" folder area, but when it asks for its folder location, it should be forced to be created in the "Equipment" library. The same in the PSE when inserting a "Create and Insert" part. When "Equipment" type is selected, it should default to the Equipment Library (the only place available for it to be created.

You would have to customize the creation of the Equipment object so that it uses a custom FormTaskDelegate, lots of information about this in the PTC Customizers Guide. While creating the Equipment object you can set the container by doing something along the lines of this.
