Lock Word template attributes mapped with DTI?

I admit to not searching nor testing very thoroughly,

Is it possible at all to lock Windchill attributes in Word template so that Windchill can update them, but user can't tamper with the fields? Such as number, state in the header updated with DTI.

The basic Word section break and restricting that from editing does not work, as expected...
