Wondering if anybody has built a report in QB that lists"similar" objects (parts,CAD files or docs). The report could do the search by number, name or file name (CAD files). For example...if I had a CAD file with a number 12345.prt and I wanted to know all CAD files that had a similar number...the report would list all other CAD files that had a number of 12345*. Some examples might be 12345_temp.prt, 12345old.prt, 12345_replace.prt, 12345-programA.prt... The purpose of this report is to facilitate locating/cleanup of duplicate objects in the DB. Using the search tool in WC to do this for objects one at a timewould be a bit over the top and take an insaneamount of time. On the other hand, having a report to do all objects atthe same time would be very helpfull.
