Try this:
Intralink | Preferences | Application Behavior
Select "Enable Update", "Every" and set it to update every 10 minutes
or whatever amount is just less than the connection timeout.
This will tell Intralink (client) to update the Workspace Objects status
every X minutes. This will probably keep the connection alive. Adjust
the
X as needed.
