Windchill FTA - updating calculation data from library

I'm trying to use the FTA Event Library to organize event calculation data parameters for multiple similar but independent events.  I want these events to use the same calculation data but have different descriptions.  I have my calculation data saved in the FTA Event Library but when I go to update events (after I update the failure rate data, for example) it overwrites the data AND the description of the event.  How can I just update the calculation data from a library event?

So one of my events looks like this:

I have an FTA event library event called "Effectiveness: Low" and I have multiple events in a large fault tree that use that model.  When I update the library event, I want to be able to update all events with the Library Identifier "Effectiveness: Low."

What's the best way to do this?
