My company is on Creo2, we are thinking about moving to Creo3. We had PTC come in and present a demo on Creo3. Seems like few nice little enhancements, but not sure if we should consume an effort in upgrading. Some of the new things we would not utilize. Wondering if we should wait till Creo4 and see what it offers. Also heard rumors Creo3 models consumes more memory to run.
Anyway, anybody on Creo3? Do you like it? Is it better than Creo2?
Any comments or feedback would be appreciated.
We're getting ready to update to Creo 3 from Creo 2 - so far it looks and works pretty much the same - no training required.
The biggest single reason is being able to open Solidworks files in native format.
Plus there are several other small things like window activation, menus, etc.
