Creo 3.0 M040 - 3D printing licence

Hello,

l have a question about 3D printing "module/function" in Creo 3.0 M040. See following link from PTC:

Design for 3D Printing Using PTC Creo | PTC

Is it a standard function in "standard licence"? Or does it require some special licence?

Thanks in advice

I hope, no additional license is needed.

Hey guys,

Just a question, MartinHanak‌, was your hope confirmed with a solid answer from PTC or your PTC Channel partner?

If not, perhaps this question should not be marked as correctly answered?

Jim,

you can ask PTC, if you want . I didn't any information referencing additional licensing in https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS207725

Agreed, the related articles don't seem to talk about addition required licenses.  In https://support.ptc.com/appserver/cs/view/solution.jsp?n=CS206529 it says "Before the availability of 3D printing in PTC Creo Parametric" So it must be included in the base license.

You'd think they want to make that abundantly clear.

Best Regards,

- Jim
