I am trying to add a component to one of my steps. Every time I select it I get the error
" Invalid selection. Only unassembled components may be assembled."
The component I am trying to add is a .ASM as is many other components in this assembly I am forming. I have tried to delete it from the generic it belongs to and adding it back in. Putting it in a separate sub assembly, and even changed the constraints of it around. It is regenerated and fully (properly) constrained.
I can, however, add all the individual components of this sub-assembly, but when I go to my DRW I have my BOM listing all the individual components as the same part number and I cannot merge all these items back into one. I have no idea how else to proceed with this problem.
