Do you want to split one windchill installation with 2 or more organization into separate windchill installation? or you want to migrate one organization unit to other PLM system ?
Below are the several approached I used in past
- Windchill bulk migrator is best tool to extract data for Extract data and migrate into other windchill. In staging database of WBM you can perform necessary data clean-up/normalization also,
- If you have good knowledge about Windchill API’s then it would more simple to write custom java classes which will query and extract data from windchill.
- OOTB you can use export and import manager to export data from windchill (Context > utility > Export Import Manager )
