How to open Inventor from WGM?

Hi..

I am using WGM 10.2 M030 CPS22 & Autodesk Inventor 2012.

And below is my setting :

PTC_WFS_ROOT : d:\wgm_work\wfs

Windchill File System Path : d:\wgm_work\wfs\windchill

I can't open Inventor from WGM.

Because when I try to open a Inventor in WGM, It's downloaded the file under PTC_WFS_ROOT/.wfs/Windchill Domain/WorkspaceName.

And Inventor tried to open the file in the workspace under Windchill File System Path.

That is the download folder and open folder are not same.

How to open Inventor form WGM ?

Hi,

As you are using the Inventor 2012 with 10.2 M030 CPS22, am not sure if it is a issue or not since Inventor 2012 is the OLDEST version supported in Windchill 10.2 release. Is there any chance that you try the same scenario with any latest versions of Inventor?

I understand that <<download folder and open folder are not same.>>, but does it open the file that you required to be opened in Inventor from Windchill WGM?

If cad document is not opening in Inventor, what is the error message or symptoms that you are observing during the process?
