Schematics - What causes Catalog needs to be synch'ed message

Schematics 2 - will update to Schematics 4 when we go to Windchill 11

Occasionally I get the message:

What causes this?  Is it a symptom of a problem?

Hi Bill,

This normally means that an item in your internal catalog for a design has the same sys_id as an item in the central catalog.

If both items are identical, this isn't a problem and I normally just synchronize.

This could cause issues however, if the item in the internal catalog is different from the item in the central catalog.

I think you can compare them, possibly by selecting "Details..."
