How to animate experimental data

Hi,

i would like to animate experimental data; how is that possible with Mathcad14? It is simple (x,y) pairs that should be plotted on graph during "time".

Best regards,

There is a long thread on that:

Hi there,

I solved the problem. I know how to animate data, but there is limitation of number of frames that can be used in mathcad 14. Max number of frames is 999; is there any possibility to extend the number of frames?

FRAME from -999 to 999
But we have an error in Mathcad 14 at negative values of FRAME.
In Mathcad 11 all is ok!
FRAME from -9999 to 9999

If you are not trying to animate cartoons, 999 frames is a lot ! If your data set is longer than 999, you can decimate ... starting by taking every 2 . How long is your data set ? Decimation will go by integer numbers and that might not be convenient either. In that case you could spline the data set and resample as you wish. Not seeing your data set, you will get suggestions, only.

Well, I want to animate (make a movie) changing of Epot with distance. The number of (x,y) pairs is 1500, and the maximum that can be animated is 999. I'm posting data also. Any help would be useful.

sorry for double upload of same files!

Why not just add two points every frame? Unless your movie is going to be very slow and very long you would not even notice the difference compared to adding one point every frame.

Can be so:

Vyacheslav Tarasov.

Thanks,

suggestions was very helpful. I know that i can reduce number of points, but i wanted to override problem with limited number of frames. Post by Vyacheslav Tarasov was very useful. Problem solved!

All the best,

In my work sheet, set n:=2*FRAME,
in the video, set RFAMES 7499.
You will see the entire scan.
No information is missing on playback.

Your data set, if decimated, does produce so much a different trace that it is time to wonder about the collection. Judge by yourself, enable/disable the decimated X, Y, Z. Knowing nothing about unknown does not help the originator, neither the collabs.
Your work sheet is restricted to Mathcad versions above 11. This work sheet is version 11. Hope it helps about the mystics of the data set.

Google for AVIsplitter. It also has an AVIjoiner in
the suite. That would allow you to do it in parts.
