I am the onsite tech for an Engineering company. I have a user who has Mathcad Prime version 11.0.1. The install did not give me the option to install Xmcd, MCD converter. I read the posts that the user needs version 15.0 or higher to have those features but the user says that she does not need 15.0. She said that is an older version and she won't be able to run her files. How can I get this feature installed?
When you install Prime 11 you should see an option to additionally install the converter for legacy files.
But this option is not checked per default. If you missed it when you installed Prime you can rerun the installer, check the option and the converter should be installed.
Up to Prime version 6 (not sure?) its was also necessary to have legacy Mathcad 15 installed but this is not necessary anymore with newer versions of Prime.
